Assistant Sales Manager – IVD

1) Job Description
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive IVD product growth in target markets. 
- Assist in managing the sales team, providing guidance, training, and performance monitoring. 
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with healthcare professionals, laboratories, and distributors. 
- Analyze market trends, competitor offerings, and customer insights to refine sales approaches. 
- Lead contract negotiations and oversee the sales pipeline to ensure revenue targets are met. 
- Coordinate with marketing teams to align promotional strategies with sales objectives. 
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical sales practices. 
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance forecasts. 


2) Education/ Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, Biomedical Science, or related field (preferred). 
- Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. 
- Knowledge of IVD industry trends, regulations, and key products. 

3) Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in IVD sales, medical diagnostics, or healthcare sales 
- Prior experience in team management or leadership roles is an advantage. 
- Familiarity with CRM tools, sales analytics software, and industry-specific platforms. 

4) Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
-Sales Target Achievement – Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals. 
- Market Expansion– Secure new clients, hospitals, and laboratories within the IVD sector. 
- Customer Retention Rate – Maintain strong relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction. 
- Revenue Growth – Drive consistent revenue increase through strategic sales initiatives. 
- Sales Team Performance – Effectively mentor and monitor the sales team’s success. 
- Compliance & Accuracy – Ensure adherence to industry regulations and ethical standards.
