Job Position - Head of Logistics 

Location - MICT Park, Building 11, Hlaing
Working Hour - Mon to Fri, 8:30 to 5:30 pm
Salary + Meal Allowance, Ferry Provided

Job Description

  • Lead and manage the managers of warehouse operations, warehouse office, and deliver teams.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance warehouse efficiency, software integrationand delivery performance.
  • Foster a colaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Conduct regular meetings with managers to review performance, set goals, and resolve operational challenges.
  • Oversee the warehouse operations, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor inventorycontrol processes to maintain accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
  • Oversee the implementation and management of warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the inventory management system
  • Collaborate with IT and operation teams to troubleshoot software issues and implement updates
  • Monitor delivery performance and address any issues or delays
  • Analyze data from warehouse operations, software, and delivery to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare and present detailed reports on departmental performance to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
  • Implement corrective actions based on performance analysis and ensure continuous training and development of managers and their teams.
  • Promote the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies in warehouse management and delivery logistics
Requirements - Skills and Knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and delivery management.
  • Experience with strategic planning, budgeting, and performance analysis in logistics environments.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, delivery logistics, and inventory control. Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), (SAP, Odoo), and Power BI
  • Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to mentor and develop managers
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational data and drive continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication skills in English and Myanmar, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable to changing business needs and capable of leading process. improvements
