  Setting out coordinates is a critical process in site engineering to transfer points from the plan to the ground accurately. Using a Total Station in S-O Mode (Set Out Mode) allows surveyors to precisely locate points defined by X, Y, Z coordinates for construction, roads, pipelines, or building layouts.
